Neloa Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Neloa handles, how it is obtained and used, when it may be shared, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Handle

Account and profile information includes your email address, authentication credentials, nickname, profile photo, biography, language, interests, and account settings.

Content and activity information includes quest participation, chosen roles, posts, photos, voice recordings, room participation, reactions, messages, connection choices, blocked accounts, reports, progress, preferences, Diamonds, and cosmetic items.

Purchase information includes the product selected and transaction status provided by Apple. Neloa does not receive your full payment-card details.

Support and safety information includes the information you choose to include when you contact support or submit a report.

2. How Information Is Obtained

Information is obtained directly from you when you create or update an account, provide content, make choices, use app features, or contact support. Purchase status is provided by Apple when you make an In-App Purchase. Photos, camera, microphone, and notifications are accessed only after you choose a related feature and grant the applicable system permission.

3. How Information Is Used

Neloa uses information to create and authenticate accounts, provide and personalize app features, maintain quest and communication activity, process virtual-item purchases, remember preferences, provide support, investigate safety concerns, enforce the User Agreement and Community Guidelines, protect users and Neloa, and comply with legal obligations. Neloa does not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Device Permissions

Photo access lets you choose profile and quest images. Camera access lets you take photos and use camera features in a squad room. Microphone access lets you record voice content and use voice features in a squad room. Notification access enables quest reminders. You can deny or withdraw these permissions in iOS Settings.

5. Sharing and Third Parties

Neloa does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising or analytics services. Apple processes In-App Purchases under Apple's policies. Information you choose to send through email or system sharing is handled by the recipient and the service you select. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect Neloa's rights.

If Neloa uses a service provider to process personal information on its behalf, that provider must use the information only for the authorized purpose and provide the same or equivalent protection required by this Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

6. Retention and Deletion

Account, profile, content, and activity information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Neloa, maintain your account, protect users, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Support and safety records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to address the request or concern, protect users, and comply with applicable requirements, after which they are deleted or de-identified when appropriate.

You can delete your account through Settings. Account deletion removes the account and associated information controlled by Neloa, except information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Apple may retain purchase records under its own policies.

7. Your Choices and Requests

You can update profile information, manage device permissions, block people, and delete your account. You may contact support@neloa.com to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion of information controlled by Neloa. Neloa will respond in accordance with applicable requirements.

8. Security

Neloa uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it handles. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Neloa's practices or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice when required.
